The Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology, Inc. (CBIC®) is accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA). The NCCA accredits personnel certifying agencies that meet or exceed their standards. This accreditation is part of what lends CBIC its validity and ensures that those who earn the CIC® credential are competent in the field of infection prevention and control.
