1. Tell us about your experience putting together your portfolio for the AL-CIP?
Putting together my AL-CIP portfolio during my maternity leave, was certainly a challenging task. However, utilizing that time, allowed me to reflect on the meaningful work that was accomplished over the past few challenging years. It was a rewarding experience to look back at the contributions that were made and the impacts that they had to patients health, the health of health care workers and to my community. The experience was also inspiring. I can't wait to see how the feild of IPAC grows over the years to come.
2. Can you provide tips for writing a successful rationale?
Ensure to utilize personal contributions, and embellish the impact they had. Not just on yourself, but on co-workers, stakeholders or even community members.
3. What advice would you give to someone considering the AL-CIP?
Don't hold yourself back. If your a leader in IPAC, just go for it.
4. What does earning your AL-CIP mean to you?
Earning my AL-CIP really helped validate the importance of the work I've committed myself too for my team members and for my community.
