Putting together a portfolio was deeply reflective and engaging. Reflecting back on the tasks, projects and system changes I have worked on was like a trip down memory lane that allowed me to appreciate the effort that has been put into these tasks by me and anyone who has also been involved.
2. Can you provide tips for writing a successful rationale?
Make sure to address the Why and the How. Be clear on the goals and steps in achieving these goals.
3. What advice would you give to someone considering the AL-CIP?
Take your time in drafting and organizing your portfolio.
4. What does earning your AL-CIP mean to you?
This recognition is a reflection my passion, dedication and commitment in Infection prevention. It acknowledges the contributions that I have made in the profession and recognizes the importance of the role. It is a significant milestone as it is a reflection of my journey which is a challenging, yet a very rewarding one. This also signifies how I have nurtured and advanced the profession I value deeply.
