Whether an Infection Preventionist is to advance in his/her career, furthering certification is one strategy that can help you get there. An IP, who pass CIC certification, demonstrates his/her dedication to mastery in the Infection Prevention and Control practice. A balanced study schedule for preparation of CIC exam is the best approach. Make sure you have enough space to refer any of the primary reference materials specified by CBIC. Using CBIC’s online practice exams helps you get used to the format of the questions. There are study groups listed in CBIC website. Every candidate may have its own expertise on a certain topic. Explain answers and questions before them, they will make it clear and highlight the areas where you need more work. Take your complete time during the exam.
