APIC/CBIC Marketing and Communications Program Manager

Kaitlin serves as the Marketing and Communications Program Manager for the Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology. She began the APIC & CBIC marketing collaboration in November 2025.
She joined APIC in February 2022 and has supported various marketing roles. With previous job experience in healthcare through physical therapy and organ transplant non-profits, she has also held various marketing, communications, and design roles in fields such as local government, economic development, sports, and engineering. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree with a Concentration in Photography and Digital Imagery from Shepherd University.
Kaitlin's passion of marketing stems from the love of photojournalism and storytelling. She enjoys the various experiences marketing can provide to a client, consumer, end-user, and observer. The lifecycle of marketing can benefit everyone if done right! She currently resides in Virginia with her husband, son, crazy dog, and cuddly cat.
