
Rashida A. Conway, MSN, RN, CIC, AL-CIP, serves as the Director of Infection Prevention and Control for Kaiser Permanente’s San Bernardino County Service Area in Southern California. A board-certified infection preventionist, she holds a Master of Science in Nursing with an emphasis in Leadership in Health Care Systems. Her work focuses on leading systemwide efforts to prevent healthcare-associated infections and improve patient outcomes across acute care settings.
Rashida has held leadership roles within her local APIC chapter. She has co-authored scientific abstracts presented through the American College of Chest Physicians focused on healthcare quality improvement and infection prevention in critical care settings. A DAISY Award recipient for her contributions during the COVID-19 pandemic, Rashida is recognized for her leadership in advancing infection prevention and patient safety.
Passionate about preventing healthcare-associated infections and advancing health equity, Rashida is currently pursuing a Doctor of Public Health degree, with a focus on addressing disparities in infection prevention and healthcare-associated outcomes.
