In an effort to connect new and experienced CICs, CBIC created a mentoring program. Why should you participate in the program? The mentoring program creates a bridge between experienced and new CICs. Mentors will gain personal satisfaction, growth within the infection prevention and control field, and networking opportunities. Mentees will obtain advice, as well as an expanded base of skills, knowledge, and networking opportunities.
The mentor-mentee relationship is intended to foster maximum outreach and commitment to the field of infection prevention and control through encouraging strong collegial relationships, training, support, and recognition. If you are interested in participating in the CIC® Mentorship Program, please fill out our Volunteer Form. For more information download our Mentorship Program Guide for Mentors and Mentees or contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or (414) 918-9796.
Please note: CICs who volunteer to be a mentor are not representatives of CBIC.
